NAME OF THE COURSE	DIPLOMA IN LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT (L.S.G.D.) REGULAR COURSE
Medium	English, Hindi, Gujarati & Marathi
ELIGIBILITY	a) Minimum qualification of Matriculation, secondary school certificate examination or other equivalent examination conducted by state govt. or union territory OR Employees of Local bodies with minimum qualification of matriculation or senior secondary school certificate examination OR Employees of local bodies with 5 years’ experience but not possessing the above qualifications may also be admitted.
OBJECTIVE	The objective of this course is to train those students, who, having completed their scholastic or university education, aspire to join service in a local body and also those who, being already in the service of a local body, desire to qualify for higher posts.
DURATION	6 months, July – Dec & Feb - July 1 year for Distance Learning Mode (DLP), July – June & Feb - Jan
CENTERS	Belagavi, Jammu, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Navi-Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune , Srinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Narela.
