About NISA Project
Norway-India-South Africa transnational partnership for localising SDGs in urban development education and practice.
Project Goal
The main goals of the project are to promote a transnational collaboration to co-create, document, and teach approaches for localising SDGs for enhancing environmental and social justice in urban development practice, enhance the relevance and quality of study programs at the partner institutions through integration of mobility in the curricula and increased interaction with local non academic actors and to develop capacity for practice-based research and lifelong learning courses at the partner institutions.
Expected outcomes
- Mutual student exchange between NTNU-SPA (India)-ACC (UCT, South Africa)
- Joint fieldwork-based studios with integrated mobility (South-South and North-South)
- Curriculum development and dissemination seminars including non-academic partners in local communities of practice
- Engagement with non-academic partners in communities of practice in the joint studios
- Joint development of PhD and lifelong learning courses with AIILSG.
