• The vision for Urban Sanitation as per National Urban Sanitation Policy (NUSP) is that, “All Indian cities and towns become totally sanitized, healthy and livable and ensure and sustain good public health and environmental outcomes for all their citizens with a special focus on hygienic and affordable sanitation facilities for the urban poor and women”.


• The project team of AIILSG, Pune will be working with 64 Urban Local Bodies in Karnataka including Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike


• The City Sanitation Plan (CSP) is intended to be an inclusive, comprehensive and participative plan which intends to provide complete access to sanitation to the entire population of the city keeping in focus the existing status of sanitation infrastructure as well as future development perspective and growth of the city.
