All India Institute of Local self Government, Bengaluru Centre, began functioning from 1976. It has been approved by the Government of Karnataka as a recognized Training Centre for all Government staff, Local Bodies Staff, Government undertakings etc. for their need based customized training requirement. The Bengaluru Centre has also been approved by the Para Medical Board, Government of Karnataka
